PERIGORD MARKETS
France is famous for its wonderful markets; they are not just a place to shop but more of a way of life, a meeting place. Every city, town, village has one at least once a week, offering the local food specialities but also sometimes art craft, souvenirs, clothes…Most markets are significantly larger during the summer months.
Certainly they are a great way of soaking up the local atmosphere as well as having a chance to sample fresh local produce.
